Hitchcock Nature Center - Area homeschool students and educators are invited to join us at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek for our third session in a series of field trips focusing on the world of citizen science.

Citizen science is a system of public programs designed to involve budding scientists of all ages in a variety of fields to collect data for scientific use. With numerous projects spanning the entire year there is something for everyone in the world of citizen science. We aim to explore a selection of programs and help you find ways to get involved with the broader scientific community.

Join us on Tuesday, June 2nd and jump into the world of pollinators and their habitats as we get involved with the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project. Learn more about larval insect forms and ways to record and report that data. We will also be exploring the world of insect pollinators and steps you can take to support them in your own backyard. For more information on the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project please visit www.monarchlab.org/mlmp.
