Students entering 1st & 2nd Grade are invited to explore nature during Wild Ones at Hitchcock Nature Center June 15th - 17th. Campers will walk on the wild side during this immersive camp experience packed full of fort building, hiking, outdoor games, nature crafts, & more.
Wild Ones camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 1st & 2nd grade (age 6 to 7). The camp will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek, IA & will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. June 15th through 17th. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.
Campers will need to provide a sack lunch for each day of camp. We also request campers bring a refillable water bottle, sunblock & insect repellent also recommended are a hat, sunglasses, long pants & closed-toe shoes.

About 2021 Summer Nature Camps
Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2021 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.
Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the following cancellation policy.

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
